Information Dissemination
Distributing information in a timely and
efficient fashion to reach the intended target population
is necessary to enhance public education. Information
dissemination involves: -
- Collecting, repackaging and disseminating anti-drug
information.
- Mounting of intensive and sustained anti-drug educational campaign
- Special campaigns in relation to
seasonal, cultural and religious celebrations.
Aim
Information dissemination is aimed at
providing information to increase awareness and
knowledge about drug prevention and treatment. This is
done through:
- one-way communication via
documents/literature
- exhibitions
Current
NADAPP is presently engaged in distributing
information via various mediums such as,
- Magazines
- Advertisements
- Talk shows
- Lectures/workshops
- Brochures
Future Initiatives
NADAPP intends to expand its distribution to
the vulnerable sectors of the population, ie the
youth, other vulnerable groups and remote areas of the
country.
