Couva Social Services Centre On-going projects: The Couva Social Services Centre is a division of the Office of the Prime Minister (Social Services Delivery) The aim of the centre is to provide the residents of the Couva/Tabaquite/Talparo Regional Corporation with a range of social services in one location (a 'one-stop shop' setting). Major Goals To assist in the prevention and reduction of social problems within the Regional Corporation. To assist in the minimization of the adverse impacts which may have arisen from these social problems. To encourage both independent initiative and joint responsibility on the part of the residents. This centre now houses the Couva Drug Demand Reduction Centre, one of NADAPP's satellite centres.
