The global war against the illegal drug trade
has propelled the instituting of a number of treaties and
agreements aimed at facilitating a coordinated and
supportive approach to countering the problem. Trinidad
and Tobago is a signatory to several international and
regional treaties and agreements which influence its drug
demand reduction strategy.
To promote the drug demand strategy, NADAPP
collaborates with a number of key stakeholders both
internally and
externally. Internally
links are made with government as well as nongovernmental
organizations, community groups and other interested
bodies. External links, on the other hand, are made up
with Caribbean and international organisations.
